MP21 - Principles to Practice — The Centerpoint Multidimensional and Multimodal Model of Community Health Support for Parents, Families and Caregivers

Parents and caregivers often seek support, strategies and engagement, well before their child-in-need is “available” for service participation. Centerpoint's Multidimensional Model of Support for Parents, Families and Caregivers (MDMM) is a principle-based model developed with emerging, progressive, culturally relevant, accessible and well-established practices. We will cover principles of practice for this model, highlight the benefits for stakeholder groups impacted by this quality improvement and community health initiative and ways the model can enhance family and caregiver engagement, strengthen and expand community partnerships, nourish creativity and innovation, and instill hope while decreasing family and community stress.
