Ph.D. Student in Clinical Psychology
Long Island University Brooklyn
My name is Alexandra (Alex) Roseman, M.A., and I am a third-year doctoral student at Long Island University in Brooklyn (LIU). I have a genuine desire to advance mental health treatments across domains of medicine through the integration of psychosocial, neuropsychological, and clinical health perspectives. My current research at LIU-Brooklyn is in the social cognitive and intergroup processes lab, evaluating the relationship between sleep and suicide. I have also been fortunate to hold a unique position at the intersection of Psychiatry and Cardiology at Boston Children’s Hospital since 2017. I continue to witness the
benefits of a multidisciplinary approach in clinical research and patient care in the Cardiac Neurodevelopmental Program, which has shaped my professional goals of working in a consulting position to help individuals navigate complex challenges and comorbid conditions. Thank you for viewing my poster and please do not hesitate to reach out for any reason!
