In our Organized Meeting, our goal is to provide a professional space to support mentorship, career networking, and science exchange for ESA members who identify as a person of Austronesian descent or who are engaged in research in Austronesia. We will achieve this goal through the following objectives: 1) Direct invitation to Austronesian entomologists across all membership levels and professional affiliations, 2) Research and professional development presentations and panel discussion by Austronesian entomologists, and 3) Group activities to facilitate professional networking.
