Landowners, from urban lots to Energy Producers, have the ability to provide pollinator habitat. Some landowners are excited to do the work, while others do so begrudgingly, and all landowners must consider their landscape context, neighbors, and regulations. This presentation will discuss ways in which landowners can create pollinator habitat, reasons to do so, with social and physical landscape context considerations. Portions of this talk will also cover landowner engagement and navigating regulations including Threatened and Endangered Species, the Monarch Candidate Conservation Agreement with Assurances, and city ordinances.
