I am a board certified Diagnostic Radiologist with a practice specialty of Nuclear Medicine/Nuclear Radiology. I am currently Chief, Division of Nuclear Medicine, department of Radiology UT Southwestern, Medical Director of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging Clements University Hospital and Medical Director at Parkland Health System hospital, large academic public hospital affiliated with UT Southwestern (UTSW). I have practiced Nuclear Radiology for 20+ years. My research interests lie in development and application of novel radiotracers to study physiology and pathophysiology of disease with focus in cancer and endocrine disorders, infection, fat metabolism, and including bone metabolism and diabetes. I am currently involved in clinical trials evaluating novel imaging agents in kidney cancer and in preclinical imaging studies using murine models of kidney cancer.
