Child abuse and exploitation in its many forms constitute a serious threat to children, families and communities. Individual offenders and criminal enterprises target minors to manipulate and sexually assault or exploit them at alarming rates. This workshop will help participants better understand the many threats and the potential investigative opportunities associated with these crimes which often involve various forms of technology. This presentation informs LE executives about the true nature and extent of the problem while taking them live into the systems used by the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Forces, the FBI and HSI to investigate these crimes.
