Stefanie Young provides over 15 years of sustainability strategy development and LEED experience. She brings well rounded experience working with architecture firms, public entities, and developers, assessing sustainable solutions for their projects. Stefanie applies her technical skills to perform carbon accounting and climate change resiliency analysis. She has been an integral part of over 125 LEED projects with a focus on LEED-New Construction, Core & Shell, Commercial Interiors and Homes-Multifamily.
Through the University of Washington Urban Infrastructure Lab, Stefanie researched climate change and resiliency, large-scale infrastructure, and zero carbon development contributing to six publications.
Stefanie is the Chair of USGBC’s LEED Energy and Atmosphere TAG and sits on the LEED Steering Committee. She has won the Presidential Volunteer Service Award for her work with USGBC regarding climate resiliency, adaptation, and green building. Stefanie was a 2022 awardee of the 40 under 40 future leaders for the Puget Sound Business Journal.
