Rotem Arieli is a PhD candidate in Human Development and Family Studies at Iowa State University. She has a Master of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Iowa State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Family Studies and Human Development from Kansas State University. Rotem has presented her research at state, national, and international conferences, receiving the 2021 Young Research Investigator Award at the International Centenarian Consortium. She recently co-authored a book chapter focused on environmental supports for centenarians and her current research focuses on the psychological well-being and social connections of older adults, with active interests in gerontechnology, social support, and exceptional longevity.
