Dora Mendez (PhD, Quantitative and Systems Biology) is a graduate student at the Unversity of California, Merced. She graduated from UCM with a B.S. in Biological Sciences with an emphasis in Human Biology. Dora's research focuses on potential hormonal theraputic treatments in the heart during insulin resistance and diabetic conditions.
