Ryan McCarthy is an undergraduate research assistant in Dr. Ali Boolani’s lab and a current sophomore at Clarkson University (expected graduation: 2024). She is pursuing a Bachelor of Science with a double major in Biology and Psychology while following a Pre-Medicine track. Ryan has also worked on research studies investigating grit, physical activity, and diet in unique populations and she helped to design protocol and collect data for a clinical trial investigating the effect of negative and positive reinforcement, music, and silence on mood and gait. Ryan is a member of the Clarkson University Honors Program and enjoys volunteering as an Emergency Medical Technician in her spare time.
