I am a PhD candidate in the Duke University Department of Pharmacology and Cancer Biology (PCB) in Dr. Nina Tsvetanova's lab. I am a deep-rooted Duke Blue Devil - I graduated from Duke with a B.S. in chemistry and concentration in pharmacology. Following my undergraduate, I joined the NIH as a postbaccalaureate IRTA fellow in the lab of Dr. David Sibley, where I studied GPCR signaling bias induced by ligands or receptor mutations. At Duke, I am currently the co-lead organizer of the Women of PCB, a group dedicated to promoting and supporting female and female-identifying students, postdocs, faculty, and staff in the department. I am also involved in Women in Science and Engineering (WiSE), a broad student/postdoc group encompassing all STEM fields at Duke. Additionally, I am an active member of the Department Diversity and Inclusion Committee. Outside of the department, I am an associate for the Duke Angel Network, a Duke affiliated investing group that supports early-stage Duke entrepreneurs. I also work as a Senior Fellow at KdT Ventures, an early-stage biotech investing venture captial fund.
