BSc in Biomedical Sciences, UAM (Brazil). During her undergraduate period, developed two projects of undergraduate research with funding from CNPq and FAPESP in the Physiology of Systems Physiology and Renal Physiology at the Institute of Medical Sciences-University of São Paulo (ICB-USP, Brazil). She is currently a Ph.D. student at the Laboratory of Renal Pathophysiology of the Department of Physiology and Biophysics at ICB-USP, where her project aims to understand the role of the Tamm-Horsfall protein in acute kidney disease and its progression to chronic kidney disease induced by crystalline nephropathy, in addition to studying the recurrence phase of the disease. She has experience in laboratory animal management, cell culture, and techniques for analyzing gene and protein expression, such as RNA extraction, real-time reverse transcriptase PCR, western blot, and immunofluorescence.
