After graduating his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at the University of Minnesota, Daihyun has continued to pursue his research as a PhD student in pharmacology at the University of Minnesota. Since then, he has been characterizing the pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) interphase of
multivalent vaccines against opioid-related polydrug use. His research interests include analyzing the drug distribution by LC-MS/MS to determine the effect of vaccine-induced polyclonal antibodies against the target drugs and conducting noncompartmental analysis with WinNonlin, a modeling software, to generate PK parameters in determining the efficacy of the vaccines in preclinical and clinical studies.
