Introduction: This workshop will provide basic introductory information on performing metabolic studies using isotope tracers and an overview of research conducted using stable isotope tracers. Specifically, the speakers will highlight current research using stable isotopes to study protein, fat, and glucose metabolism in clinical research settings.
