Captain Elizabeth Perryman is an active duty mental health provider, and a doctoral candidate of Social Work at Morgan State University. Capt Perryman's research interests include suicide-related resilience, and service member and veteran mental health. Capt Perryman has over 12 years of direct social work practice experience, and was most recently the 15 Wing Suicide Prevention Program Manager and Staff Clinical Social Worker at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. Her specialties include assessment and treatment of individuals with PTSD, complex trauma, mood disorders and personality disorders. Prior to commissioning, she worked in private practice, within inpatient/outpatient psychiatric settings, as an MSW field-practicum instructor, and taught as a Psychology department adjunct professor.
