Thoracic Surgery Resident

Darren Bryan is a second year 5+2 cardiothoracic surgery resident at the Brigham and Women's hospital. He completed his general surgery training at the University of Chicago where he spent time studying the role of motor proteins in the developement of metastatic tumors, as well as completed a fellowship in medical ethics. He is particularly interested in the surgical care of pleural based malignancies, the application of minimally invasive approaches to thoracic surgery, and patient-surgeon communication.
