Rob Elder, Elder Ranch Inc., Oregon Cattle Rancher
I am Rob Elder. My wife, Kristi, and I are owners of our ranch. We own and operate ranches in Riverside, Oregon just south of Juntura, Oregon and we have a summer ranch in Unity, Oregon. We have a cow/calf and stocker operation. We market anything from calves to yearlings and at times we finish our own cattle depending on market conditions. Our catlle graze out on B.L.M. and Forest Service allotments as well as utilizing our private pastures.
We take pride in the care we give our cattle and our land so both will continue to provide us with a sustainable way of life now and for future generations.
