Wright-Patterson Internal Medicine Residency Program
Marc R. Gutierrez, MD, Capt, MC, USAF is a PGY-2 Internal Medicine Resident at the Wright State University/Wright-Patterson AFB program in Dayton, Ohio. He obtained his undergraduate degree in chemistry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He then attending the F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD. While at USU, he was an active member of the curriculum committee and recruited additional student volunteers to increase student engagement in curriculum planning, implementation, and assessment. As a resident, his current research interests include the role of narrative assessment in resident feedback and how narrative assessments can be objectively evaluated for the purposes of faculty development. His clinical interests include pulmonary/critical care medicine, infectious disease, and operational medicine.
