George Platt is a 45-year “AV” rated attorney who has represented a wide variety of clients primarily in South Florida. He is currently the Managing Partner at LSN Partners, LLC. Recognized for his considerable experience in government and public policy law, George served as a Broward County Commissioner and became heavily involved in land use and environmental law, chairing the regional MPO and the Urban Wilderness Advisory Board, as well as serving on the South Florida Regional Planning Council.
In the early 90s, George helped form The Wetlandsbank Group and permit the first entrepreneurial wetlands mitigation bank to transfer third party credit with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. George currently serves as General Counsel to The Wetlandsbank Company, LLC.
George was a founding member of the National Mitigation Banking Association (NKA ERBA) and The Wetlandsbank Group helped launch the NMEBC conference 25 years ago.
In the past 25 years, The Wetlandsbank Group has worked on 13 mitigation and ecosystem banking projects in four southeastern states.
