Mahmoud Shousha received the B.Sc. (Hons.) and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from Cairo University, Giza, Egypt, in 2008 and 2011, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Toronto, Toronto, ON, Canada,
in 2016.
Since 2015, he has been with the Magi3C Product Unit, Würth Elektronik eiSos, Munich, Germany, where he is responsible now for the R&D team. His current research interests include battery management systems, low-volume high-efficiency dc–dc converters, energy harvesting topologies, magnetics-on-silicon fabrication and characterization, and digital control of power converters.
