I originally got my degree in Computer Graphics & Interactive Media, which made sense at the time as I had been studying the studio arts and dabbled in HTML during high school. Following university, I diverted from my intended path of becoming a graphic/web designer and went on to complete two AmeriCorps volunteer service programs focused on education and disaster relief. I then went on to teach English in South Korea, after which I started working in meetings & events, and I've worked with trade associations since 2013 managing content and speakers. Despite the initial diversion, my design and technical skills came in handy in every job I've had up to this point!
I also grew up in a military family and had the opportunity to live in various places around the world. In my free time you may find me reading, playing video games, cooking, or spending time with my fiance and our dog Roshi.
