The Kelsey
Caroline leads housing programs and organizational finance at The Kelsey. She has over fifteen years of business leadership experience across the non-profit, corporate, startup, and philanthropic sectors. She joined The Kelsey after her mother with disabilities experienced a series of evictions and witnessed first-hand how housing insecurity has become wide-spread across the San Francisco Bay Area. She has an MBA from UC Berkeley and a Bachelor of Arts from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
The Kelsey has overseen the development of two mixed income, disability inclusive housing projects in California which will result in homes for over 300 individuals. The Kelsey also invests in free resources for other organizations who are looking to build Inclusive Housing including the Housing Design Standards for Accessbility and Inclusion. She believes the complicated and nuanced field of housing development should be more accessible - just like the built environment!
