Nichole Dunton is currently an MSW student at Arizona State University. She completed her BSW at ASU and her Associate of Arts at Maricopa Community College in Arizona. After this, she knew she wanted to continue to help others and focused on the Social Work path. Over the last eight years, Nichole has been working in the substance abuse field. Her roles in the industry have varied from detox to residential and outpatient treatment. Her professional life includes a devotion to serving the needs of those looking for guidance and hope in living a life with purpose. While working in the field, she has cultivated an approach to meet clients' individual needs by building upon their strengths, assets, and perspectives. Currently, Nichole is focusing on policy, administration and community practice. During her undergraduate study at ASU, Nichole was gifted the opportunity of interning at ASU's Community Collaborative at the Westward Ho. At this internship, she learned about serving seniors and individuals with disabilities, creating a new outlook on this under-served community. As a result, it has expanded Nichole's vocation to help a broader range of individuals through social work application
