Brandon Hamm is an Assistant Professor clinically active on the consultation-liaison psychiatry at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, and was a 2018-2019 Academy of Consultation Liaison Psychiatry Webb Fellow. He was Chief Resident of Academics during his psychiatry residency at Cleveland Clinic, where he underwent fellowship training in Consultation Liaison Psychiatry. Areas of research include acute agitation management, care provider experience, decision-making capacity evaluation, psychiatric education, bioethics, virtue ethics, resident empathy and burnout, frostbite. Clinical interests also include neuropsychiatry, epilepsy, psychodermatology, demoralization, cardiac psychiatry, sedation approaches in the setting of mechanical ventilation, ketamine, TMS.
