Michelle Rodgers is an LPC who provides direct mental health treatment to children and families at Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center. She has over ten years of experience working with clients impacted by abuse and trauma. Michelle is certified in TF-CBT and EMDR; she is trained in Play Therapy, DBT, and PSB-CBT. She has also coordinated the group onboarding for DCAC clinicians for past four years. Michelle is passionate about increasing the use of group therapy in CACs in a way to that best meets the needs of the clients while also being a good steward of agency resources. During her career, Michelle has worked in various trauma focused settings, including schools and non-profits. She received her MS in Counseling from the University of North Texas.
