Seeking a balance between wholesale preservation and complete erasure, a designer, design advocate, and design reviewer discuss the challenges of managing change of historic sites within a discipline where change is inevitable. Writing, un-writing, and re-writing multiple narratives, this case study finds focus at the intersection of modernism and memorial.
