Dr. Ihab Abdallah works for the Office of Research and Standards, Office of Generic Drugs, Center for Drug Evaluation and Research at the Food and Drug Administration. Ihab earned his PhD in biopharmaceutical sciences from Harrison School of Pharmacy at Auburn University, Alabama. He received his bachelor’s degree in pharmacy and master’s degree in clinical pharmacy from University of Jordan. Ihab has over 7 years of experience in pre-clinical drug discovery and development, biopharmaceutics, and clinical research. In his current role, Ihab studies and evaluates the pharmacokinetics variabilities for approved sprinkled generic modified-release drug products. Ihab also reviews and provides product specific guidance recommendations for the generic products. He has published several research papers in the pre-clinical and clinical areas. He has been a member of ASCPT since 2021.
