Bilal received his PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmacokinetics from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 2011. The focus of his PhD was on the application of PBPK modeling and simulations in predicting the nonlinear pharmacokinetics of small molecules. After graduation, he joined University of Cincinnati to complete a two-year postdoctoral training in clinical pharmacology and PK/PD analysis. During his postdoctoral training, Bilal was involved in designing phase I clinical trials and was working on the application of PBPK modeling in dose selection for oncology drug combination products. In 2013, Bilal joined the Office of Clinical Pharmacology as a reviewer in the neurology team in DNP (previously DCPI).
