Jeanne McMahon is the Senior Director, State, and Local Projects at the SPAN Parent Advocacy Network of New Jersey. In her role, Jeanne oversees SPAN’s maternal and child health, human services, child welfare-related projects, and advocacy as well as SPAN’s Medical Home initiative and prevention and developmental disabilities programs including Improving Pregnancy Outcomes and the Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder prevention program. Additionally, Jeanne represents SPAN on state-level task forces, committees, and workgroups dealing with children/youth health, human services, and child welfare issues. Jeanne has over 20 years of program planning as well as community organizing and advocacy on the local, state, and national scale in maternal-child health, early literacy, early intervention, and reproductive health.
