Jessica Joshua completed her undergraduate studies at University of Toronto with a specialization in Cell and Molecular Biology and a major in Neuroscience. At the University of Guelph, she completed her masters with Dr. Tami Martino in Biomedical Sciences, studying the effect of veterinary ICU light and sound conditions on animals in recovery. She is currently a PhD Candidate supervised by Dr. Sonja Fonfara and Dr. Jeff Caswell in Pathobiology, researching myocardial mRNA and microRNA expression profiles of feline hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
