Dr. Murthy graduated veterinary school at the Ontario Veterinary College, where his interest in neurology was sparked. Following a rotating private practice internship in Toronto, he completed a Neurology/Neurosurgery residency at UC Davis, receiving board certification in Veterinary Neurology. He is currently a faculty neurologist at the Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine, researching neurophobia, epilepsy and neurological biomarkers.
