Transcatheter edge-to-edge repair (TEER) is an minimally-invasive intervention for degenerative mitral regurgitation in dogs, similar to MitraClip in humans. Lecture will review the device, patient selection, imaging, interventional procedure, and case presentations based on initial clinical experience.

Learning Objectives:

Awareness of an emerging treatment option for dogs with severe degenerative mitral regurgitation.
Imaging and criteria for patient selection for transcatheter edge-to-edge mitral valve repair
Follow up patient management and evaluation after transcatheter edge-to-edge mitral valve repair
