Following a moderate to severe traumatic brain injury, family and friend caregivers are tasked with making decisions while dealing with the complex medical needs of their loved one. In our presentation, we describe the iterative development of a web-based education, support, and skill-building intervention, Caregiver Wellness after TBI (CG-Well). Unlike the majority of interventions, CG-Well begins in the ICU, and is focused on the needs of the family or friend caregiver.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion, participants will be able to describe the need for interventions to support caregivers of adults with traumatic brain injuries shortly after injury.
Upon completion, participants will be able to describe the iterative process of the development of Caregiver Wellness after TBI (CG-Well).
Upon completion, participants will be able to describe the early qualitative and quantitative ratings of Caregiver Wellness after TBI (CG-Well).
