Christopher Vasquez is currently the Clinical Educator at Neuro Rehab VR and assists in training clinicians around the U.S. in using the XR Therapy System, a virtual reality system developed for patient care. Christopher is a Texas native who graduated from the University of North Texas with his Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology. Following his graduation from UNT, he attended Tarrant County College’s accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program receiving his Associates of Science. Upon graduating, he started working for the Neurological Recovery Center in Fort Worth, a neuro-based outpatient clinic, and has since worked with NRC for 4 years. Being at NRC, he began working with Neuro Rehab VR’s virtual reality system for rehabilitation. This opportunity led to virtual reality integration into patient treatments both in geriatric and neuro populations. Throughout his career as a PTA, Christopher has also worked in various setting with experience in home health care, general outpatient care, and, lastly, in acute care at Medical City in Weatherford.
