Dr. Kamerath is the Senior Medical Director for Rehabilitation Services at Intermountain Healthcare with more than 13 years of rehabilitation and leadership experience. Prior to joining Intermountain in 2021, he served as the rehabilitation director for the Trauma Burn and Rehabilitative Medicine Project in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. He received an MBA from Strayer University and was the Chief Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Resident at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Dr. Kamerath also led the department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington. He spent 13 years active in the U.S. military, including tours in Korea and Afghanistan. In his role as Senior Medical Director for Rehabilitation Services, Dr. Kamerath focuses on helping all patients reach their maximum human function by helping Intermountain become the model health system for rehabilitative care.
