Alexandra Ribon-Demars completed PhD in Biomedical and Clinical Sciences in 2019 (Université Laval; advisor: Dr. Aida Bairam). Her thesis focused on the bidirectional relationship between arterial hypertension and sleep apnea syndrome. Now, she is a research professional at Université Laval, Québec, QC, Canada, and at the Cirris, a rehabilitation research center. She coordinates projects that address cognitive deficits, functional outcomes (e.g., return to work, driving), particularly traumatic brain injury and stroke. She also investigates technological tools (i.e. mobile technology, virtual reality, telehealth) for the assessment and treatment of cognitive deficits.
