Dr. Shweta Gore is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at MGH Institute of Health Professions, Boston. Dr. Gore’s research focuses on the measurement of physical activity and its relationship with health outcomes in individuals with chronic cardiovascular and pulmonary conditions using complex survey data and electronic health records. Dr. Gore is a Learning Health Systems Rehabilitation Research Network (LeaRRn) scholar embedded in Boston Medical Center. As a LeaRRn scholar, Dr. Gore has been working closely with a multidisciplinary team at Boston Medical Center (BMC) in collaboration with Dr. Mary Slavin, PT, PhD and the Activity and Mobility Promotion (AMP)™ and research team at Johns Hopkins to design and study the implementation of the Johns Hopkins AMP™ approach to hospital mobility across BMC hospital system.
