Megan Quimby is currently the Director of the Speech and Language Program and a licensed speech-language pathologist with the Frontotemporal Disorders (FTD) Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). She specializes in working with individuals with progressive language disorders, helping them by providing evaluation and treatment services that focus on facilitating functional communication. She is an active clinician and researcher in the MGH FTD clinic and research unit. She facilitates a Primary Progressive Aphasia Education and Support Group and provides education to community-based organizations such as the Alzheimer’s Association to increase public awareness about progressive aphasias. In the past, she worked at an adult day health program, Constant Therapy, and MGH as a clinical research coordinator doing Alzheimer’s research.
