Dr. Goverover is a Professor and Program Director of Post-Professional Programs at New York University. Her career in Occupational Therapy spans 30 years. Following her post-doctoral fellowship work 20 years ago, she has focused the majority of her career on examining functional cognition and advancing cognitive rehabilitation in persons with brain injury and multiple sclerosis through the creation and testing of assessments and treatment protocols that promote everyday functioning. She has a strong publication record (> 60 publications) in high-quality peer-reviewed journals, and she has a successful grant record, numerous national and international conference presentations, and collaborations with both national and international colleagues.
