Dr. Christensen Holz is an Associate Professor in the division of Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She has served as co-chair of the ACRM cancer rehabilitation education task force for several years. She is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation cancer rehabilitation consortium. She has presented on various cancer rehabilitation topics at the ACRM and AAPMR annual assemblies, including cancer rehabilitation competencies, patient reported outcomes, electrodiagnostic evaluation of the oncology patient, best cancer rehabilitation papers and review of cancer rehabilitation guidelines. She developed the cancer rehabilitation and cancer pain management program at her institution. She is responsible for cancer rehabilitation education for the residency program and has developed appropriate curriculum including lectures and clinical teaching for the residents. Her research interests include development and implementation of cancer rehabilitation competencies across the disciplines and pain management for the oncology population.
