This symposium will provide an overview of the process of developing the Oncology Rehabilitation Competency Tool using the Delphi Study methodology. Validation of the tool utilizing cognitive interviewing will then be discussed. The study piloted this process across academic and community settings and aims to expand this pilot to additional rehabilitation disciplines and settings. Preliminary data obtained from the cognitive interviewing process and rollout of the tool will be analyzed and clinical implications will be discussed. A review of all considerations as well as the barriers, challenges and limitations in the validation process will be elaborated.
