Melissa "Missy" Gleason has been a practicing physical therapist primarily in neurological rehabilitation for 9+ years. She has predominantly been working in the unique clinical setting of day rehab for the last 6 years and enjoys working with this special population. 2 years ago, she was a part of a team that presented virtually at ACRM on the feasibility of using tDCS in the clinical setting specifically with the stroke population. She has been a part of a special project team with Northwestern Memorial Hospital to initiate a movement disorders intensive and interdisciplinary program for patients diagnosed with functional neurologic disorders, specifically functional movement disorders. In her spare time, Missy enjoys working on home projects with her husband, traveling, spending time with her two dogs, and yoga. She also loves to attend her alma mater Marquette University's men and women's basketball games as often as she can.
