Laura Lenhart graduated from Creighton University in 2011 with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. The following year, she completed a Neurological Physical Therapy Residency through the University of Utah which culminated with obtaining a Neurologic Certified Specialist Certification in 2013. Since that time, she has been working as a physical therapist for the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab at their Homewood DayRehab location. As a treating clinician, Laura works closely with individuals with a variety of neurological diagnoses.. She is also actively involved in translational research including use of transcranial direct current stimulation as an adjunct to gait training post CVA. Laura is also helping spearhead organizational therapeutic program development including treatment of Minimally Conscious Brain Injury in the outpatient setting and the Interdisciplinary treatment of Functional Movement Disorder.
