Erin Casey Phillips, is an Associate Professor of Occupational Therapy and Founding Director of the Occupational Therapy Program at Carlow University in Pittsburgh, PA. She earned her AB in Biology and her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis, and a post-professional Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from St. Catherine University. Her teaching and research are focused on the use of a lifestyle approach, coaching, and person-centered care to enhance interventions in OT education and practice. She is a certified Diplomate in the American College of Lifestyle Medicine advocating for the promotion of a culture of health through daily lifestyle choices. She is a certified life coach and yoga instructor, and is working to promote OT community based initiatives for health and wellbeing across the lifespan. Dr. Phillips is inspired to help guide a new generation of occupational therapists who are committed to healthy occupational patterns for themselves, their clients, and their communities.
