Daniel W. Klyce, Ph.D., LCP, ABPP, is a licensed clinical psychologist and board certified rehabilitation psychologist. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship in rehabilitation psychology in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Washington’s School of Medicine. He joined VCU in 2013 as an as a faculty member in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and from 2013 to 2020 served as the primary rehabilitation psychologist for the inpatient brain injury service at VCU Medical Center. During that time, he also served as a research associate for VCU’s NIDILRR-funded Traumatic Brain Injury Model Systems (TBIMS) project. In 2020, Dr. Klyce became the co-director of the Polytrauma Rehabilitation Center’s TBIMS project at the Richmond VA Medical Center. He serves as the Rehabilitation Psychology Advisor at the Sheltering Arms Institute, providing consultation and leadership to initiatives related to transdisciplinary practice, knowledge translation, graduate psychology education, and healthcare ethics consultation. He is a member of the editorial board for the journal Rehabilitation Psychology, and a member of the board of directors for the Academy of Rehabilitation Psychology and the Brain Injury Association of Virginia.
