I am an Associate Professor at Pennsylvania State College of Medicine and have served as a pediatric rheumatologist at Penn State Children’s Hospital since 2004. In addition, I created and expanded an outreach site at Lehigh Valley Hospital where I have been an active staff member since 2005. In 2019, I helped create a new independent pediatric rheumatology practice at Lehigh Valley Reilly Children's Hospital. In 2010, I joined Pediatric Rheumatology Care & Outcomes Improvement Network (PR-COIN) as the PI for Penn State. Since that time, much of my academic focus has centered around quality improvement initiatives. In 2016, I completed advanced training in QI and statistical methods in the Advanced Improvement Methodology workshop, sponsored by Cincinnati Children’s Hospital James M. Anderson Center for Health Systems Excellence.
