Dr. Gordon Lam is a rheumatologist and the Medical Director of clinical research for the Arthritis and Osteoporosis Consultants of the Carolinas in Charlotte, North Carolina. He also holds an affiliate position with Atrium Health and the Wake Forest School of Medicine. He received his undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology from Princeton and his medical degree from Duke, where he also completed his residency in internal medicine. He served his fellowship in rheumatology at Johns Hopkins. He was an invited house officer at the University of Oxford, and he performed a research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Lam is board-certified in internal medicine and rheumatology, and he is a fellow of the American College of Rheumatology. He has participated in clinical studies for rheumatoid arthritis, Sjogrens syndrome, gout, spondyloarthritis, pharmacology, and HIV. Dr. Lam has numerous peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and abstracts.
