Dr. Monique Hinchcliff is Associate Professor of Medicine in the Section of Rheumatology, Allergy & Immunology at the Yale School of Medicine. She completed rheumatology fellowship training (2010) at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and a masters degree in Science in Clinical Investigation at Northwestern University (2011). She was appointed Director of Clinical and Translational Research for the Section of Rheumatology, Allergy & Immunology at the Yale School of Medicine and the Director of the Yale Scleroderma Program in 2018. Her research program includes clinical, interventional and observational studies in patients, as well as mechanistic studies in animal models and humans, with the overarching goal of better understanding the epidemiology, risk factors, pathogenic mechanisms, treatment, and prognosis of systemic sclerosis (SSc). Her team utilizes high-throughput approaches to quantify disease heterogeneity and identify deregulated molecular programs that underlie SSc endophenotypes including various organ-based complications.
