Galina Marder, MD is Associate Professor of Medicine at Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and the Director of Inflammatory Muscle Disease and Vasculitis Centers within the Department of Rheumatology. She is committed to patient-oriented clinical research directed at advancing new therapies in autoimmune diseases such as myositis, vasculitis and SLE. She serves as a clinical site investigator in many collaborative clinical trials in myositis and vasculitis designed to expand the indications for several novel and promising drugs. She has been an active member of the International Myositis Assessment Clinical Study (IMACS) group.
