David Downing, PT, DPT is an outpatient Physical Therapist at the University of Virginia Children’s Hospital. His professional interests include Birth to Three populations, Education, Myelomeningocele, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. He earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Kentucky in 2015, and in 2020 completed a Pediatric Residency and LEND Fellowship at the Oregon Health & Science University. He is an active member of the APedPT and current Secretary of the APTA Virginia Pediatric SIG.
